Graphite 1975 and Reflections 1976
Graphite on onion skin paper, reflective mylar,
each 12 pages, perfect bound. 11 x 8.5 inches.
Companion bookworks (with acetate covered pages), one housing onion skin paper rubbed with powdered graphite, and the other sheets of reflective mylar. These works explored the notion of 'content' in an immediate sense: Graphite literally presents a primary medium of drawing, and Reflections presents visual reflections (of the viewer or 'reader') as a metaphor for reflective thought.
