Tangle 2015 Paper, glue and enamel on board. 32 x 36 inches. Tangle is a collage of small knot diagrams literally and figuratively tied together on a black field. The diagrams were copied from a dictionary entry on 'Knots,' enlarged, printed in negative and cut into pieces to construct a large, virtual net or skein of tied together knots. Some of the diagrams are of metal rings attached to the ropes anchoring the net to the borders.
